The filming of Terminator Salvation in New Mexico are still in progress in full swing

In the highly anticipated new installment of the Terminator film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale plays John Connor alias. Connor's destiny is to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor another way of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being condemned to death, arrives suddenly.

Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

TERMINATOR SALVATION marks the last installment of the billion dollar Terminator franchise and is the first film to be a new Terminator trilogy.

The release of the film in the U.S. for 22 May 2009 provided. In Germany the film starts on 4 June 2009. Principal photography will take place in the Albuquerque Studios and on location throughout New Mexico.
