15th Avenches Opera Festival presents "Don Giovanni" at the historic Arena of Avenches: spectacular staging of Mozart's masterpiece in the open air

Avenches - The Swiss Avenches Opera Festival presented in summer 2009 with a new production of "Don Giovanni" musical delight under the stars. Mozart's masterpiece arrives on 3 July 2009 in a production by the internationally acclaimed director Giancarlo Del Monaco in the Arena of Avenches to the premiere. The son of legendary tenor Mario Del Monaco has staged the most important houses in the world, now the audience can at Avenches in a surprising production from his hand forward. After the premiere on 3 July followed by six more performances of "Don Giovanni" at the 4th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 15th and 17 July, 2009.
For the cast of "Don Giovanni" was the Avenches Opera Festival international singer / inside Konstantin Gorny and Nicola Ulivieri, Noëmi Nadelmann and Sunhee Park, Andrea Concetti win many more. Free introductory lectures complement each evening visit the presentation. And the Roman Museum in Avenches opens its doors to visitors for the evening performances of opera festivals: the opera ticket of admission to the museum is worth seeing freely.
